The person behind Smiling Press International, Thilo Kober, has been involved in medical writing and health outcomes research since 1993. Thilo has authored and co-authored over fifty research articles, papers, reports and abstracts in international and national peer reviewed biomedical and other journals.

Thilo is a PhD graduate and member of the Australasian Medical Writers Association (AMWA) and the German Association of Medical Writers (VDMJ).

Since 2006, Thilo has been a member of the International Advisory Board of the German Journal for Evidence and Quality in Health Care http://www.elsevier.de/zefq
